After three intense races, the Sunshine Sup Series will culminate on Saturday, August 20th, with the crowning of an overall champion of the 4 race series held in Pompano Beach.
The Elite series will go down to the wire in the men’s division with Packet Casey narrowly holding on to the first place spot over Jake Portwood, and Mark Athanacio in third. On the woman’s side, Helga Goebal leads Amanda Wilson by 250 points followed by a tight race between Mary Anne Boyer Willis and Sue Cooper for the third place spot. Race 4, in the same fashion of the very first Sunshine SUP race, the championship event will feature a very special performance by the Mai Kai dancers, FREE of charge! Music, Demos, and Entertainment all day, so bring the entire family for this special Saturday.
And for racers and friends of the the Sunshine SUP, there will be a registration party held at the Mai Kai Polynesian Restaurant on Thursday Night, from 5pm-8pm, featuring half price appetizers and drinks! Come celebrate with us in the infamous Molokai Lounge as we get ready for the final event the series. Live music, great food and drinks, raffles, and plenty of laughs.
